Trowa X Quatre doujinshi
Most of Mecca's doujinshi seems to consist mostly of text only sections, with only an avergage of 10-20 manga pages, which is really a shame, 'cause Kazuka Minami's hot scenes are really worth more space than she's getting. Trowa and Quatre are often highly stylized, and either you love it, or you hate it. The plot (which plot?) seems to center on how to get Trowa and Quatre to bed as soon as possible, so that the 3x4 action can begin. Sometimes she just starts the "story" in the bed. ^_^ Make no mistake - this is hardcore 3x4, and there's no reason to think she would ever reverse positions on these boys... If you want 3x4 smut, this is for you.
But Kazuka Minami doesn't only do smut, the stories compiled in the Crystalize anthology is written to comply with Bandai's standard for Gundam Wing stories - only minimal touching take place, if anything at all. However, what you really need to get Mecca doujinshi for is the gorgeous covers and colour illustrations, they really are in a class of their own. Trowa is always dead sexy, and Quatre so sweet it hurts.
Since Kazuka Minami made doujinshi over a rather long period of time, her style changes, most notably so in Quatre.
Quatre got more and more cute, and Trowa got more and more sexy, as Kazuka Minami's style developed. My personal opinion is that she was at her best between late 1996, and early 1997, with a beautiful and realistic stule. After that, something obviously happened, as Quatre's eyes got bigger and bigger, the overall style much more sugary sweet (you can clearly tell Kazuka Minami's preference for shota), while Trowa seemed to outgrow Quatre-kun pretty fast there at the end. Or maybe Quatre shrunk? ^_~
As her style changed, we could also see other changes, most acutely notable in Quatres...  shall we say nether regions. Don't know what it is about Japanese yaoi artists, but they seem to like to make the designated uke's naughty bits as small and shrivelled as possible, and Quatre is no exception. He started out just fine in miss Minami's first works, but by the end of '97, there just no way that Quatre could ever be seme with that tiny thing between his legs. ^_^; Kazuka Minami is not a phenomenon though, other titles listed on this page shows the same... degeneration. Even Trowa's nether parts shrunk visibly in x3's works... Don't ask me why it's so, I'm just noting it. ^_^ Kazuka Minami never stayed with vanilla sex either, there's always some quirk to it, like creative clothing or places. In one doujinshi, Quatre wears some girl-type underwear, much to Trowa's obvious delight, and in another book, they have sex while Noin stands just outside the door...
Original works - Strawberry Children
I don't know whether Mecca has stopped doing Trowa X Quatre doujinshi yet (although I can't find any dated 1998), but I know that in 1997, Kazuka Minami started doing her own original characters.  First out was various yaoi manga, with characters so startlingly similar to Trowa and Quatre that I didn't notice any difference, in the shota inspired anthology Sweet Embrace (ISBN 4-7567-0468-9). Note that it's not actually Trowa and Quatre though, it just looks that way... She continued on this path in 1998, with the work that most know her by - Strawberry Children (1st volume ISBN 4-905965-20-9). By that time, she had also changed her name to Haruka Minami. Once again, the characters are easily mistaken for Trowa and Quatre (which was the way I found her, by the way...),  and you can really only tell the difference on colour illustrations, where Trowa-- err, Naoto ends up with green, purple, blue or pink eyes. His Quatre-clone partner, Ayano, has either teal, purple, pink or green eyes. Guess she couldn't decide, huh? ^_^ Anyway... if you loved her Trowa X Quatre doujinshi, you will absolutely adore Ayano and Naoto. They're the sweetest pair of sex maniacs you can imagine! In the first volume of Strawberry Children, they have sex 12 times over 170 or so pages, often twice per chapter... But there is a plot too, I promise! In the info file on herself, she explains that Trowa and Quatre will always be her favourites, so maybe this is all just a clever device to get copyright holders off her back - "Trowa and Quatre" remain the same, only names and setting change. If you really like her colour illustrations, don't miss the artbook Panis Angelics (ISBN 4-905965-77-2), which is full of absolutely gorgeous illustrations. Most are of her original characters, but if you ignore that... they could easily be Trowa and Quatre. ^_~ Besides, many of the illustrations are Trowa and Quatre anyway, taken from various doujinshi.
